Be sure to stop by the Memorial Pool to help us celebrate the USA and check out all-day patriotic events, games, and fun! DJ Mike will be on hand to play poolside music and lead games such as the limbo, freeze dance, and much more! Our aquatic staff will be on hand to lead in water games and raft rides!

The COA is hosting summer donation drives for two local organizations in great need, as donations tend to dip for nonprofits in the summer. July's drive is for Welcome Home, a nonprofit organization in Newton Center, collects and redistributes like-new household items to local families and individuals experiencing hardship with basic household items they need to live with dignity. These items are provided with no fees, no forms, and no requirements. Items that are tarnished, stained, overused, or broken are not accepted. New and gently used items accepted are: mixing bowls, utensils & silverware, glasses & mugs, plates & bowls, food storage containers, dish towels, sheet sets (all sizes, folded and labeled with size), new pillows, shower curtains, bath mats, new bath towels. August's drive will be for Animal Rescue League of Boston, Dedham location.

Add some fun to your summer! It's simple: read or listen to two or more books and complete reviews online or in writing. Four lucky readers will each be awarded a gift certificate for use at a fun local business. Gift certificates will be awarded on August 6.
