    In this program, music historian John Clark will highlight some of the most popular music of the war years. You’ll hear songs of heroism like Comin’ in on a Wind and a Prayer, humorous songs such as G.I. Jive, love songs like As Time Goes By and songs of longing for the war to end like When the Lights Go on Again All Over the World. Featured artists include the Andrews Sisters, Glenn Miller, Johnny Mercer, Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby, Judy Garland, Vera Lynn, Kate Smith, Vaughn Monroe and Spike Jones.
