More… The Committee meets at the Library at 9:30 a.m. on the 3rd Tuesday most months. Members share the following responsibilities: Scheduling: Contacting performers to schedule a concert date; arranging for a mutually acceptable contract, coordinating with the Library to secure the Community Room, and scheduling piano tuning, if necessary. Publicity: Collecting biographical information about each performer and musical information for each program to publicize the concerts, and produce the programs. Concert Duties: Organizing Committee volunteers to assist at concerts, meeting and assisting musicians, introducing the performers, ushering, and refreshment duties. While it should not be viewed as a requirement to be present at concerts, it is desirable, as staffing the concerts is a vital part of the success of the series. You don't have to be a virtuoso to become a member of the Music Committee, just someone who wants to help bring music to the library. Members need not live iLess…
