The Transfer Station is Undergoing Changes, Starting July 1st

The Transfer Station will be switching Solid Waste Vendors. We will now use Lawrence Waste Services.
The Transfer Station is changing how paper waste is recycled:
Mixed paper – includes newspapers, magazines, catalogs, paperback books, junk mail, brown bags, mixed paper, cereal boxes, and office paper.
Cardboard – includes ONLY corrugated cardboard, cardboard boxes and empty (no food) pizza boxes. Recycled cardboard is currently selling at a premium, so keeping it separate from other paper materials will provide the Town with a better price.
You will see new signage for the different items you are getting rid of. Please remember to look carefully at the signage to see if what you are getting rid of belongs in the bin you are about to use.
The Solid Waste Drop Off Area is temporarily located at the end of the Parking Area with 10 Yard Dumpsters.
