November Reflection

As we move into December, our hearts are filled with gratitude for the community around us as we reflect on many cherished moments during a busy November.

This month we:

provided 175 delicious Thanksgiving meals to residents 60+;
thanked our Weston veterans for their service with a special luncheon;
teamed up with Weston Recreation to host our 2nd Annual Turkey Trail Walk, a community event that brought together residents of all ages; and
received generous donations for The Weston Food Pantry housed at the COA from First Parrish Church, Congregational Church of Weston, Weston United Methodist Church, and Boy Scout Troop 157

Thank you to our incredible volunteers, supportive community, and fellow town employees!

December Featured Highlights

In the spirit of the season, there's so much to do at the COA, including many opportunities to connect safely with others:

Take our van to the Rose Art Museum's Frida Kahlo: POSE Exhibition
Attend our food preservation & canning interest meeting
Take part in our social justice group
Join the trail walk to Cat Rock & 80 Acres
Attend our holiday coffee on December 20

... speaking of holidays, those in the holiday spirit would be interested in our holiday baking class and winter table wreath workshop with the Weston Garden Club. The Women's Community League will be here to wrap your holiday gifts for the season.

We are also offering an interactive Afro-Caribbean drum & dance program and whoopie pie grab-and-go. Order one for someone who needs a pick-me-up and another as a treat for yourself!
