30 Minute Unwind

This is a drop-in event. Attend as many or as few sessions as you would like. Register just once using the above link and you will receive Zoom link for all sessions.
In a quick 30-minute session each Wednesday, clinical psychologist and educator Dr. Katherine King will guide you in a brief relaxation practice and offer some science-backed strategies to help you cope and maintain your well-being during these challenging times. Over the course of these sessions, you will:
- Get help with managing stress even in the midst of real world chaos.
- Engage in brief guided relaxation and contemplation practices to restore energy and a sense of purpose.
- Pick up a bite-size nugget of wisdom each week to help you master your stress response, improve your well-being, and care for yourself and others more effectively.
- Have a few minutes for questions, discussion, and connection with your host and fellow participants.
Katherine King, PsyD is a licensed psychologist and assistant professor in William James College's clinical psychology doctoral program. She is a passionate advocate for the well-being of helping professionals who has led numerous workshops on the topic. She is also co-host of the Noble Mind podcast featuring interviews with thought leaders in the areas of meditation and psychology. As a past yoga teacher and massage therapist, Dr. King's work is informed by a healthy respect for the mind-body connection.
