Building Resilience on the Charles: Final Presentation of the Charles River Flood Model
Wednesday, June 23, 2021
Weston is a part of the Communities Responding to Extreme Weather with the Charles River Watershed Association. A final presentation of the Charles River Flood Model will be shared and how this information can be used to guide future decision-making in our communities, including implementing nature-based solutions to keep your community safe from the flooding impacts of climate change.
Having the best possible information on the impacts of climate change within the community can inform effective local investment and regulatory changes. CRWA and partner communities developed the Charles River Flood Model, which provides simulations of different kinds of flooding events and possible solutions like green infrastructure.
