Saturday, February 13, 2021

Recommended by Weston's Tree Advisory Group as an educational opportunity to protect Weston’s natural resources, join the Groton Garden Club, the Nashua River Watershed Association, and the Groton Invasive Species Committee, to learn how to identify and control invasive plants common in the home landscape. This presentation will focus on natural organic methods and materials suitable for the homeowner or their land care provider. Topics such as the Achilles Heel Hypothesis that every plant has a weakness that can be exploited, timing, persistence, and follow-up maintenance will be discussed. The speaker will be Michael Nadeau who has 30+ years in the organic landscaping business and is one of the leading authorities in the field of sustainable organic and ethical land care strategies in the country.
