Preserve Existing Trees & Buffers

A buffer is a screen of native trees and shrubs which hides houses from the street and creates privacy for homeowners. A buffer of as little as 10 feet creates the illusion that you are driving through the woods rather than along a suburban street. One of the pleasures of driving in Weston is the sunlight filtering down through the canopy of trees and foliage that covers many of our scenic roads. Maintaining this tree canopy requires keeping an undisturbed buffer zone along the edge of the road.
