The phrase "Reduce Reuse Recycle" is an ordered list of how one should view product consumption. We should be looking for ways to reduce single-use items or looking to reuse them. Then we recycle if we can't do either of the other two. Below is a list of options to donate, give away, or sell items so others can reuse what you no longer need or want.

Wayland-Weston Freecycle - trade it out with a neighbor
Weston (MA) Community Sale Stuff - Facebook group of Weston-only residents. Also look for regional "Curb Alert" Facebook groups where people will place a notice on the page of items they are giving away and someone will come get them
Weston Curb Alert - public Facebook group for anyone looking to get rid of items for free
Facebook Marketplace - sell your items, which is a great avenue for old furniture or yard equipment, even some demo materials like pavers or cabinets
Note - the parking lot of the Weston Police Department can be used as a meet-up spot if you are uncomfortable with giving out your address.
