Board of Library Trustees

The Town of Weston has an opening on the Board of Library Trustees to be filled due to a recent resignation. As provided by state law, this vacancy is filled by a vote of the Select Board and the Board of Library Trustees. The appointed candidate will serve for the remainder of the term that expires at the conclusion of Annual Town Meeting in 2021.

The Board of Library Trustees is made up of six residents that generally meet a minimum of one time a month, more often if needed, and are responsible for planning for future growth and development of the Weston Public Library, for determining written policies that govern the operation of the library, acting as representative of the library to residents and town officials, and approving the annual library budget and expenditures.

Applicants must be a registered voter of Weston.
