State TIP Projects
The State Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) is an opportunity for municipalities to apply for funding for the construction of certain transportation projects. An example of a state TIP project in Weston is the Rt. 30/Wellesley Street Intersection and Signal Improvement Project.
Weston has applied for two more TIP projects. Information can be found by following the links below. Both projects received design funds at the 2018 Annual Town Meeting. Funding for design is required in order to obtain the construction grant from the state.
The Traffic & Sidewalk Committee and the Department of Public Works are providing oversight for these projects.
