Spend a Thursday evening with us as late afternoon leads to sunset…one of the most beautiful and dramatic times of the day for plein air painters. Local landscape artist Larry Grob will help you explore the potential of pastels as we work quickly to capture the changing light. Larry will demo, share tips on subject selection, composition, and technique...and coach as you work on your own painting. Sanded paper pastel boards and foam core sleeves (for pastel transportation) will be provided. Bring your own pastels (Larry will have a starter selection available to share) and field easel if you have one.

What is the cost to you of not remembering names? Memory trainer Neil Kutzen will teach you a method that has led to extraordinary feats of memory. You will see every person and their name more vividly, and remember their name surprisingly easily. Specially designed learning exercises are practiced in class and then at home. Neil has spent more than 25 years as a corporate trainer and instructional designer. He has a master's degree in Clinical Psychology. What People are Saying: "Participants were laughing and learning. Feedback was enthusiastic and positive, with one person very excited to try out the techniques she had learned at a wedding she was attending later in the day. Neil is a terrific presenter.
