2017 Bow Hunting Season: Oct. 16 - Dec. 30

The 2017 season begins on Monday, Oct. 16th, marking the 5th year of Weston's Deer Management Program. Nine parcels are open to bow hunting: Blaney Aquifer, Coburn Meadows, College Pond Conservation Area, Dickson Fields, Doublet Hill, Highland Forest, Ogilvie Town Forest, Jericho Town Forest, and Sears Land. As a reminder, hunting is permissible Monday through Saturday only, sunrise to sunset, from temporary tree stands. All hunters have been tested and permitted through the Town of Weston.

The Conservation Commission reported a successful 2016 season, which had 34 permitted hunters who recorded 374 hunting days and donated 72 hours of land management work. For more information on Weston's bow hunting program, please visit the Town's website.
