Brush Dump Opens Oct. 14 with Extra Days

fallcleanup

The Composting Facility (Brush Dump) on Merriam Street will be opened for 5 Saturdays, starting October 14th, with newly added time on Tuesdays and Fridays to accommodate fall clean-up. When the Brush Dump is open, large quantities of leaves and brush brought in on pick-ups or trailers will not be accepted at the Transfer Station. A current transfer station permit or recycling permit is required to access the Merriam Street Brush Dump. Plastic bags that are not designed for composting must be emptied, as they interfere with the composting process.

The Brush Dump hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on the following fall schedule:

  • Saturday, October 14, 21 and 28
  • Tuesday, October 17, 24 and 31
  • Friday, October 20 and 27
  • Saturday, November 4 and 18
  • Tuesdays, November 7 and 14
  • Friday, November 3, 10 and 17
  • CLOSED - November 11 (Veterans Day)

Compost is available free of charge to Weston residents at the Transfer Station and Merriam Street sites, during business hours, when available.

A map of the Brush Dump location is available here.
