Spellman Museum: Electoral College Electors to Speak

Thursday, January 19, 2017

Two residents of Weston, Nazda Alam and Joseph Mullin, who have been electors to the Electoral College will explain how they were selected, what special legal obligations they had and what the ceremony was like at the State House on the day they cast their ballot. They will also discuss the pros and cons of the College and will welcome questions and opinions from the audience. The Museum galleries will be open with a special exhibit featuring postal history items related to past presidential inaugurations.
