Board of Trustees of the Weston Affordable Housing Trust Fund
The Board of Selectmen is seeking individuals interested in serving on the Board of Trustees for the Weston Affordable Housing Trust Fund. The Board of Trustees is made up of no less than five members, one of which is a member of the Board of Selectmen. The purpose of the Trust is to provide for the creation and preservation of affordable housing in Weston for the benefit of low and moderate income households as defined by the Massachusetts Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). Further, the Trustees are also tasked with implementing the Town’s recently approved Housing Production Plan and to provide review and recommendation of Chapter 40B proposals.
Residents with background or interest in matters relevant to affordable housing, such as law, finance, construction and property development, historic preservation, and community affairs are encouraged to apply.
